Biography

As a Detroit native and proud Western International High School graduate, Alex earned a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Chicano/Latino Studies from Michigan State University and a M.A. in Higher Education Administration with a concentration in Student Affairs at The George Washington University.

Coming from GWU in Washington, D.C., Alex served as a Career Exploration Coach and Adjunct Lecturer. Prior to that, she worked for SER Metro-Detroit as a Talent Sourcing Specialist and Retention Coordinator. Alex is excited to bring her skills and experience to WSU to empower the diverse student body on their academic and professional journeys.

Alex strives to create opportunities that help students navigate the challenges of higher education and achieve their professional goals.
